Operational Excellence Manager
We are currently seeking a dedicated Operational Excellence Manager to lead operational excellence initiatives at Cabelcon, a leading manufacturing company based in Vordingborg, Sjælland. This position is open due to a recent organizational adaptation.

Your Role
The Operational Excellence Manager reports directly to the General Manager in Denmark and is part of the Company’s management team.
The Operational Excellence Manager provides leadership to his/her team to ensure high performance, excellence and compliance, including safety and contingency plans. In this role, the Operational Excellence Manager secures a high performing Quality operations, which among others, includes close co-operation both internally and externally to ensure continued high-quality operations. You will also coordinate efforts between Product Development (non-commercial) to Manufacturing and Supply chain (commercial) with the aim of preparing products for production and sale.
The Operational Excellence Manager takes the lead and spearheads operational excellence initiatives, operational strategy as well as efficient and timely reporting to the General Manager, management team and other key stakeholders.
Participation in Site Leadership meetings to ensure alignment with other stakeholders as well as company strategy. You will have 5 FTE in direct reference.
Occasional travel activity must be expected (10-20 days per year).

Key Responsibilities
Active cooperation and communication across sites
Develop and drive operational excellence initiatives, defining quality, in close collaboration with the General Manager and Management team
Ensure accurate data-driven reporting, review and follow up on projects
Risk mitigation and assessments
Drive operational safety initiatives with full focus on zero accidents
Understand customer landscape, working proactively with stakeholders to ensure product excellence and ensure proactive response to customer needs
Work closely with Product Development to stay updated with products
Proactively work to identify gaps to secure improvement initiatives in close cooperation with Product Development
Drive excellence on site
Collaboration with Product Engineering in Denmark on product management, new product introductions, product strategy
Manage team, set individual targets and track efforts. Follow Company guidelines for Performance Reviews
Perform internal audits and technical inspections to ensure optimization of resources
Manage external site audits for ISO compliance
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in a manufacturing environment and at least five years of experience in a similar role
You have a well-structured approach to your work, a keen attention to detail, and a hands-on attitude while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture. Additionally, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
A Relevant education
5-10 years’ experience from a production company
Demonstrated managerial experience
Technical experience, including compliance
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Danish and English
Experience in working with Lean and/or Six Sigma is an advantage
